About Me

My name is Nathan and I am currently a junior at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. Growing up in Minnesota, I have always enjoyed being outdoors and playing all different types of sports including baseball and football when I was younger, and sand volleyball and broomball in college. In the winter you can find me on the ski slopes and in the summer on one of Minnesota’s 10,000 lakes.

I am an Economics major in college with an area of emphasis in Finance and a minor in Management Studies. In my free time I enjoy playing and watching sports, working out, being a part of the Economics Honor Society, and Alpha Phi Omega (a community service club at school).

Ever since I was young I have always had a fascination with Scandinavia, and so when I got to college I knew exactly where I wanted to study abroad. Since I study at a college on a rural campus, I also wanted to try out living in a city for a change. Stockholm stood out to me since it is the largest city of any of the Nordic countries, the culture seemed interesting, and I can trace part of my ancestry back to Sweden.
